Ingredients:
- 1 can (6.5 ounces) Tuna
- 3 oz Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 ounces cream cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 1/2 medium yellow onion
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup bisquick Heart Healthy baking mix
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 tsp salt
- dash of nutmeg
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and lightly grease a 10 X 1.5" pie plate
- Chop the onion and lightly sautee
- Mix tuna, cheeses, and onions in pie plate
- Mix remaining ingredients in blender until smooth (approximately 15 seconds on high)
- Pour into pie plate and bake about 35 to 40 minutes (until golden brown and knife inserted 1/2 way between center and edge comes out clean)
- Let stand 5 minutes before cutting
Notes:
This is a lighter version than the original recipe (by about 40 calories per slice) but tastes as good.
