Banana Bread

Ingredients:
  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a loaf pan
  2. Use a wooden spoon to mix butter and bananas in a large mixing bowl
  3. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla
  4. Sprinkle with the salt and baking soda, and mix well
  5. Add the flour and mix thoroughly
  6. Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 1 hour
  7. Cool on a rack, removing from pan when it has cooled down enough.
