Beer-soaked Bratwurst

Ingredients:

1 package fresh bratwurst (typically 5 in a pack)

3 beers

1 onion, roughly chopped

1 green pepper, roughly chopped

1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:

Put all ingredients in large pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat

Let sit, covered, for 2 to 3 hours.

Just before cooking, bring the pot back to a boil.

Cook on grill until done.
Notes:
You can use any kind of beer you like, but I prefer something like an ESB.
