Goat Curry

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. goat
  • 4 black peppercorns
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp corriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:
  1. Marinate the goat meet in yogurt for at least 1/2 hour
  2. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat
  3. Sautee the onions, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, and black peppercorns until they start to brown
  4. Add the corriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala
  5. Add the tomato and salt and sautee until the oil starts to separate
  6. Add the goat meat and sautee until browned
  7. Add the water, cover, and cook for 25 minutes on low heat
  8. Serve hot
