Whipped Cream

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1-1/2 tsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions:
  1. Pour the cream into a medium mixing bowl (sides high enough to prevent splatter)
  2. Beat ith mixer or immersion blender with whisk attachment until it just begins to thicken
  3. Add the sugar and vanilla, and beat until fluffy. Do not beat too long or you'll get butter.

Notes:

Makes about 4 heaping TBSP of whipped cream. I find that a good serving amount for a regular-sized bowl of ice cream is 1/3 of the batch.
