Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp flour or more, if necessary
Instructions:
- Brown the meat and drain fat.
- In a small bown, mix together the brown sugar, mustard, and vinegar.
- Add the brown sugar mixture, ketchup, celery, onions, and Worchestershire sauce to the meat and stir to combine.
- Add the flour to thicken, if necessary or desired.
Notes:
This made the best Sloppy Joe that I've ever eaten, and did not take any more time than making them with sauce from a can (or powder from a packet).
