Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Chipotle-infused Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 Medium Red Onion (diced)
- 1 lb Ground Turkey or Beef
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp salt
- Fresh ground pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Heat the oil over medium heat
- Add the cumin seeds
- When the seeds begin to sizzle, add the onions and cook until translucent
- Add the meat and brown thoroughly
- Add the chili powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika and mix well
- Remove from heat and serve
Notes:
I came up with this for a quick taco filling. It has a little heat, and the smoked paprika adds a nice flavor.
